Welcome to Happy Landscapes Garden Design & Construction!
I’m Luke Richards, the owner of Happy Landscapes. Originally from the UK, I’ve called Christchurch home for the past 10 years. My journey into landscaping started straight out of school, studying sports turf management before heading off to travel the world. Along the way, I worked as a landscaper in Australia, gaining valuable hands-on experience.
After settling in New Zealand, I took on the role of site foreman for a local landscape company here in Christchurch and furthered my skills by studying garden design. Four years ago, I founded Happy Landscapes with the vision of offering thoughtful, creative, and practical garden design solutions. Today, we’re proud to provide a full garden design and construction service tailored to the needs of our clients across Christchurch.
